Today was Build Day 2, and our teams crushed it! We had long days but we made huge strides on all five homes, and it’s incredible to see the transformation happening right before our eyes.
Today was all about the next big steps—installing roofs, windows, electrical wiring, and drywall. Teams worked tirelessly, trimming drywall seams and making sure every detail was just right. These houses are quickly becoming homes, and the excitement is building.
Of course, no full day of labor would be complete without a few water fights breaking out! Between brush strokes and hammer swings, students found time for playing with the kids in the neighborhoods. The joy on their faces—both the kids’ and our students’—reminded us why we’re here.
We couldn’t be more proud of our students. Their hard work, resilience, and willingness to serve is shining through and it’s making an impact that will last long after the last nail is hammered.
Tomorrow is our final build day, and emotions are running high. We can’t wait to hand over the keys and celebrate what God has done! Keep us in your prayers as we push through to the finish line!
