Tijuana Mission Trip – Day 5: Walls Going Up & Hearts Opening

Today was a BIG day—full of hard work, laughter, paint-covered hands, and the joy of giving!

We loaded up early and drove out to our build sites, where each team had the chance to meet the families we are building homes for. It was a humbling and beautiful moment, putting faces and stories to the work we’re doing. These homes aren’t just walls and roofs—they’re fresh starts, answered prayers, and reminders of God’s love in action.

Once the work began, there was no stopping us! Most teams were able to get the walls up, paint and drywall, and even place some of the trusses. But the best part? The kids! They jumped right in, eager to help with painting . Their joyful energy made the work even more special.

Tomorrow, we’ll be putting on the finishing touches, and by the end of the day, these houses will be almost move-in ready. What a privilege to build not just homes, but hope.

After a full day of hammers and paintbrushes, we gathered again for a beautiful evening of worship. We explored creative ways to listen to the Holy Spirit and seek His guidance. It was a powerful time of reflection, learning to tune out the noise and truly hear His voice.

Every day, we see God moving in ways we never expected. And every night, we leave a little more changed.

Keep us in your prayers—tomorrow is another BIG day!
