Tijuana Mission Trip – Final Day: Five Homes, Countless Blessings, and Hearts Forever Changed
We did it! After days of hard work, sweat, laughter, and prayer, our Grade 9 students completed all five homes and handed the keys over to five incredible families. What a moment!
As we stood together, gathered in front of the homes we built, we spoke words of blessing and hope over these families. It was a powerful, emotional time as we all felt the magnitude of what God has done in just one short week. These houses are more than just shelter; they represent stability and safety which will bring a fresh start.
Our final night was spent looking back at all that God has done and celebrating His faithfulness. We laughed, we worshiped, we shared stories, and we thanked God for how He worked in and through us this week.
And as we pack up and prepare to head home, we carry memories but also more—we carry changed hearts, deeper faith, and a new understanding of what it means to love and serve like Jesus.
This mission trip wouldn’t be possible without you—our incredible Glenmore community back home. Your prayers and generosity made this trip a reality, and we are so grateful! But most of all, we couldn’t have done this without God showing us His love in new ways every day.
Gloria a Dios!
