Sorry, folks - there was a glitch in the gallery situation yesterday - enjoy the pics!
Hola from Tijuana!
Day 2 was packed with learning, sharing, and, of course, some incredible food! We kicked things off with our first session of the trip, diving into cultural differences and how they shape the way we connect with others. Our team also got hands-on coaching in sharing personal testimonies, mastering the "Five Finger Gospel," and practicing with each other—because telling your story is one of the most powerful ways to spread the love of Jesus!
After a delicious lunch (yes, food is a theme here!), we headed to Las Playas de Tijuana, where the ocean meets the towering border wall. With hearts full of courage and the Holy Spirit guiding us, we stepped out in faith—praying for people, sharing the gospel, and lifting up the burdens of those we met. Watching our students boldly step into their calling and lead others to Christ was truly inspiring.
As the sun set back at base, we gathered for a fajita feast that was nothing short of amazing—followed by fresh, warm churros that may or may not have changed our lives. (Seriously, SO good! 😋)
To close the night, we reflected on our identity in the image of God, exploring what it means to be His creation, loved and chosen. It was a powerful reminder that no matter where we go, who we meet, or what language we speak, we are all made in His image and called to share His love.
Tomorrow’s another big day, so stay tuned! Keep us in your prayers as we continue this incredible journey. ✨🙏
