Wow what a day. This is our largest group ever - but one of the best border crossings we have ever had. Everything went so smoothly. The pink hoodies raised lots of questions as we went through the San Diego airport giving us an opportunity to share the purpose of our trip. We were even stopped by a pilot who blessed us on our journey. Once we got on the bus, we made our way to lunch. The students were very entertained by electronic garbage cans, paper Inn-N-Out hats and pennies. Lots of moments for laughter and memories.
We were greeted by an excited Mission Adventure team when we got to the YWAM base at San Antonio del Mar. They were settled into their rooms where many were amazed at how beautiful the accommodations are. The students have spent most of the night on the soccer field and had a great first chapel time. The theme for our week is Radical Justice Every Day based on the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25 - 37
Tomorrow we will be training for ministry times and visiting the border wall down by Las Playas. Your kids are bringing us lots of joy as we begin this adventure.
